Dr. Israel has served as a general practitioner for more than a decade. He began his medical career at Gondar University Hospital in 2014 and transferred to our hospital in 2016. Alongside his medical practice, he pursued his passion for technology, completing a Software Engineering program at HiLCoE and currently advancing through the final year of his Master’s program in Computer Science. Dr. Israel has developed several innovative software solutions to support hospital operations: - Document Handling System: A platform that manages PDF files of hospital protocols, terms of reference, and other official documents. - Android Application: Designed to browse the web-based document service. - QR Code Tools: A dedicated encoded QR code generator paired with a custom app that decodes the codes securely. - Health Education Video System: A local network application that categorizes health education videos by department. Content is centrally managed and accessible from any computer or TV connected to the hospital’s network. - Goodwill Program Application: Tracks patient data, history, and laboratory results for the Kiremt Goodwill Program. It also maps data collection points on a GPS-based interface. This solution is available both as a web application and a dedicated Android app. - IT Inventory and Maintenance Management System: Operates on the local network to manage IT assets, maintenance requests, and follow-up services. - General Service Maintenance Application: An Android app with an integrated admin site to streamline service requests and oversight. Through these contributions, Dr. Israel has combined his medical expertise with technological innovation, significantly enhancing hospital efficiency and patient care. this will be removed before the app becomes publicly available
